This recipe is Cherie DeGennaro's she says "this recipe evolved over the past 25 years. It was originally the fruitcake recipe from the Nonesuch mincemeat jar and I tweaked it and got it drunk lol."

2 1/2 call-purpose flour

1 tspbaking soda
-
2eggs
-
28 ozmincemeat
-
14 ozsweetened condensed milk

2 ccandied fruit
-
1 ccandied cherries
-
1 cchopped walnuts
-
1 1/2 to 2 cBacardi gold rum
How To Make my drunken fruitcake

1Preheat oven to 300 degrees Fahrenheit. Grease a Bundt pan.

2Mix flour and baking soda and set aside.

3In a large bowl combine the remaining ingredients. Then blend in the dry ingredients.

4Pour into pan. Bake for 1 1/2 hours or more till not wet on a toothpick. Cool, turn out of pan.

5*Since I tweaked it with rum and I add double the fruit and cherries the recipe states it can take a lil while extra to cook through but it's worth it.
