Ingredients For mountain dew cake
- CAKE:

1 boxlemon cake mix

3/4 ccanola oil

10 ozmountain dew

1 boxinstant lemon pudding mix

4 lgeggs
- ICING:

1 csugar
-
1 lgcan crushed pineapple with juice

3 Tbspcornstarch
-
1/2 stickbutter
-
1 cshredded coconut
How To Make mountain dew cake

1Pre-heat the oven to 350 F

2In a medium bowl, add cake mix, oil, pudding mix and eggs. Mix to combine.

3Add the Mountain Dew; beat with electric mixer on medium speed for 2 or 3 minutes.

4Pour batter into prepared bundt cake pan (sprayed with cooking spray with flour.) My handwritten recipe suggested a bundt pan but I really prefer to use a 9 x 13 cake pan.

5Bake for 35 to 40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the cake comes out clean.

6In a medium saucepan, combine sugar, pineapple and cornstarch. Stir and cook until thick.

7Remove from heat and add butter and coconut. Stir to combine well. Slowly pour hot icing over cake.
