Ingredients For mother's devils food cake

1/2 cbutter

2 csugar

2eggs

2 tspsoda in:

1/2 csour milk (sweet milk/1 tbs vinegar)

2 tspvanilla
-
2 cflour
-
2 Tbspcocoa (heaping)

1 cboiling water
- ICING
-
1 csugar
-
1 Tbspcocoa
-
1/2 ccream
-
1 cmarshmallows, mini
-
1/2 tspvanilla extract
How To Make mother's devils food cake

1Cream butter and sugar.

2Add eggs and milk and vanilla. Mix flour & cocoa and add to creamed mixture. Add boiling water. mix.

3Bake in a tube pan or 9X13 pan for 40 to 45 minutes at 350.

4Prepare Icing: on stove in saucepan add all icing ingredients. Heat to firm ball, let cool, then beat smooth.
