monkey bread

This is a fun treat to make and eat! My mom used to make this for me when I was a kid. It would be a special treat when she made it. I love making it now for Thanksgiving morning.
Blue Ribbon Recipe
This nostalgic monkey bread recipe will bring you back to your childhood. Pieces of biscuit dough are coated in cinnamon and sugar. A buttery brown sugar syrup holds the pieces together. Where this recipe is a little different is the add-in recommendations. We added layers of pecans for a nutty flavor and crunch. But, raisins or coconut would be tasty too. The aroma of this baking will get everyone out of bed. A fun special breakfast recipe.
