Growing up we called this "blueberry pudding" and it was eaten in a bowl covered with sugar and milk. I never ate it that way, it's good all by itself! My grandson requests this for his birthday cake!

Ingredients For mom's blueberry cake

4 call purpose flour

1/4 cbutter, softened

2 csugar
-
2eggs, slightly beaten
-
2 tspbaking powder
-
2 tspvanilla
-
1 ptblueberries
-
1 1/2 cmilk
-
1 pinchsalt
-
sanding sugar or regular sugar
How To Make mom's blueberry cake

1Mix all ingredients in a bowl, except blueberries.

2Gently fold in blueberries with a spoon or spatula. Pour into greased 9 x 13 baking pan. Sprinkle with sugar if using.

3Bake at 350 degrees for 40-45 minutes until toothpick inserted in center of cake comes out clean.
