another one from the recipe box. I haven't had this in years but remember it being a good summertime dessert.

Ingredients For mom's banana split cake

5bananas

3 stickbutter
-
2 cgraham cracker crumbs

1large can crushed pineapple, drained

1large tub cool whip
-
1/2 cchopped nuts
-
2 cconfectioners' sugar
-
2eggs
-
maraschino cherries
-
hershey's chocolate syrup (optional)
How To Make mom's banana split cake

1Mix 1 stick melted butter and 2 cups graham cracker crumbs. Press into a 9 x 13 pan.

2Beat together the following with an electric mixer for no less than 15 minutes: 2 eggs 2 sticks butter (room temp) 2 cups confectioners' sugar Spread mixture over crust.

3Slice the bananas and cover the mixture. Spread the drained crushed pineapple over the bananas. Cover the pineapple with the Cool Whip.

4Sprinkle the Cool Whip with the chopped nuts and some cherries. Drizzle on Hershey's Chocolate if desired. For best results, refrigerate overnight.
