Ingredients For mincemeat cake

1/2 cbutter

1 csugar
-
1 Tbsporange zest
-
1/2 tspnutmeg
-
1 tspcinnamon

1/2 tspcloves
-
1 tspbaking soda
-
1 ptmincemeat with juice

2 cflour
-
1/2 tspsalt
-
2large eggs
- GLAZE:
-
powdered sugar
-
vanilla
-
milk
-
1/4 cchopped walnuts
How To Make mincemeat cake

1Cream together butter, sugar, and orange zest. Add each egg one at a time.

2Mix spices, soda and salt with the flour and add to the butter mixture alternately with the mincemeat. If needed, add enough water to make a smooth cake batter. Pour into a greased 9 x 13 pan and bake at 350 degrees 35-45 minutes until done. Cool and drizzle with a little glaze; top with chopped walnuts.

3Glaze: Combine a little Powdered Sugar, Vanilla and Milk, mix until smooth. Drizzle over warm cake and top with chopped walnuts.
