This new poke cake recipe I created is a style of Milky Way bars. It's perfect with a glass of milk.

    Milky Way minis, unwrapped and divided
  • 1 box
    chocolate fudge cake mix
  • 1 c
    chocolate hazlenut spread
  • 1 c
    water
  • 1/2 c
    vegetable oil
  • 3
    eggs,beaten
  • 3
    king size Milky Way bars, sliced
  • 1 c
    heavy cream
  • 1 jar
    caramel ice cream topping
  • 1 tube
    frozen whipped topping, thawed
  • 8 oz
    cream cheese, softened
  • 1
    packet instant chocolate pudding mix
  • 3/4 c
    hot fudge sauce

How To Make milky way poke cake

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

    Coat the bottom of a 13x9-inch baking pan with nonstick cooking spray. Add 15 Milky Way minis.

    In a large bowl, combine cake mix, chocolate hazlenut spread, water, oil, beaten eggs, and sliced Milky Way bars. Beat together with electric mixer on low speed for 30 seconds.

    Beat on medium speed for 2 minutes, scraping the bowl occasionally. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan.

    Bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted the center comes out clean. Cool for 10 minutes.

    In a small bowl, combine heavy cream and caramel ice cream topping. Whisk together until smooth. Set aside.

    Poke the warmed cake with the end of the wooden spoon. Pour caramel mixture over the cake. Cool completely in the pan on a cooling rack.

    In a medium bowl, combine whipped topping, cream cheese, chocolate pudding mix, and hot fudge sauce. Whisk together until blended.

    Spread the frosting onto the cake. Add remaining Milky Way minis.
