Ingredients For mexican wedding cakes

  • 1 c
    butter or oleo
  • 1/2 c
    sifted powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla
  • 2 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1/2 c
    finely chopped pecans
  • 1/8 tsp
    salt

How To Make mexican wedding cakes

  • 1
    Cream butter 1/2c powdered sugar and vanilla. Combine flour, pecans and salt. Stir into butter mixture. Shape dough into 1 inch balls. Place on ungreased cookie sheet, bake at 325 degrees for 20-25 minutes. Cool on wire rack. Roll again in powdered sugar. Makes 3 dozen.
