8 ozcream cheese (softened)

3 csugar

6eggs
-
3 cflour

1 1/2 tspvanilla
- ICING:

1 box10x powdered confectioners sugar

6 Tbspbutter (softened)

8 ozcream cheese

2 Tbspamaretto
How To Make melissa's cream cheese poundcake

1Cake: Preheat oven to 300 degrees.

2Combine butter and cream cheese, blend well.

3Add sugar slowly and mix for 6 minutes.

4Add eggs one at a time.

5Add flour, mix slowly while adding.

6Add vanilla.

7Pour into greased bunt pan and cook for 1 hour and 30 minutes.

8Icing: Cream butter and cream cheese together.

9Add powdered sugar and amaretto (or substitute 1/4 to 1/2 tsp. almond extract).

10Optional-top with slivered almonds.
