Ingredients For margie's gooey butter cake

  • 1 pkg
    yellow cake mix
  • 1 stick
    softened butter
  • 1 lg
    beaten egg
  • 2 lg
    eggs
  • 1 pkg
    8 oz. softened, cream cheese
  • 1 lb
    powdered sugar
  • 3/4 c
    chopped pecans

How To Make margie's gooey butter cake

    Put into a large mixing bowl, the cake mix, sofftened butter and the 1 beaten egg. Mix by hand and pat into the bottom of a 13x9 baking pan.

    Beat with a mixer: the 2 eggs, 8 oz. cream cheese and the 1 lb. of powdered sugar, mix well. Add the chopped pecans and pour over the cake mixture.

    Bake at 350* for 45 minutes. Mmmmm, moist and gooey butter cake.
