My grandma (Mamma) made this cake every holiday in the year and I wanted to skip the dinner to eat it! It's the best pound cake you have ever tasted!

Ingredients For mamma's pound cake

1/2 lbbutter

1 Tbspcrisco shortening

2 ccake flour

6eggs

1 tsppure vanilla extract or lemon extract

2 csugar
How To Make mamma's pound cake

1Cream butter and sugar and add eggs, one at a time.

2Add vanilla and a dash of salt.

3Slowly add flour. Bake in well greased and floured loaf pans ( use crisco for this) at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Test if needed and cook a little longer if not done.
