This is a third-generation recipe. The best, moistest, pound cake you'll ever eat. Try toasting a slice with butter; you'll think you're in Heaven! This cake also freezes well (if you have any left over).

How To Make mamaw's sour cream pound cake

1Cream together butter, sugar and vanilla. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each.

2Sift dry ingredients together 3 times. Add to batter, alternating with sour cream.

3Bake @ 350 for approximately 1 hour, maybe a little longer.
