This cheesecake was bought to one of our many gatherings when we stationed with RAF Mildenhall, UK. It reminds me that 1. Home is more a sense of belonging than a place. It's where the special people in your heart reside in comfort and security. 2. There are many blessings in my life, of which my travels and memories are some.

Ingredients For lyndsey's cheesecake

  • 1
    graham cracker pie crust
  • 1 can
    pie filling ( your favorite flavor!)
  • 8 oz
    cream cheese
  • 8 oz
    sour cream
  • 1/2 tsp
    vanilla
  • 1/2 c
    sugar
  • 1/2 tsp
    lemon juice

How To Make lyndsey's cheesecake

  • 1
    Mix softened cream cheese, sour cream on LOW speed.

    Mix in lemon and vanilla on MEDIUM speed

    Mix in sugar SLOWLY. Mix THROUGHLY

    AFTER MIXING throughly, beat on high speed for 1 minute

    Bake at 375 for 20 mins

    Cool for 40 mins on wire rack.

    Add topping

    Refrigerate for 8-12 hours, I do this overnight or day before
