everyone loves this cake i make it every fall like 5 times and i make it for Thanksgiving dinner also.. great and easy to make!

Ingredients For luscious pumpkin cake

  • 1 box
    yellow cake mix
  • 1 15oz can
    pumpkin devided
  • 1/2 c
    milk
  • 1/3 c
    oil
  • 4
    lg eggs
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    pumpkin pie spice devided
  • 1 1/2 pkg
    8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1 c
    powdered sugar
  • 1 1/2 pkg
    cool whip (not frozen just in the fridge)

How To Make luscious pumpkin cake

    pre heat oven to 350 grease and flour 2 9 inch round cake pans. beat cake and 1 cup pumpkin, milk, oil, eggs and 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice until blended, bake 20-22 minutes until toothpick comes out clean, let cool completely

    in another bowl beat cream cheese until smooth add powdered sugar the rest of the can of pumpkin and 1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice mix well. fold in cool whip
  • 3
    frost cakes with topping you made the sprinkle a little pumpkin pie spice on top for garnish
