Ingredients For lemon pound cake

  • 1 box
    yellow cake mix
  • 1 box
    small box lemon pudding mix
  • 3/4 c
    milk
  • 4
    eggs
  • 1-2 tbsp. lemon extract
  • 3/4 c
    cooking oil
  • 2 c
    powdered sugar
  • 4-5 tbsp. lemon juice
  • 3/4 stick
    melted butter

How To Make lemon pound cake

    Mix the dry cake mix and dry pudding mix together. Add milk and mix well.

    Add the eggs one at a time, beating after each one. Add 1-2 tbsp. lemon extract and add the cooking oil. Mi slowly but evenly.

    Bake @ 300 in a tube pan for 1 hour, 15 minutes. Glaze while still hot.

    GLAZE Blend the powdered sugar, lemon juice and melted butter together and pour over the cake while it is still hot.
