This is my grandmothers recipe.She always made this for a special event.

Ingredients For lemon poppy seed cake

  • CAKE
  • 1
    lemon cake mix with pudding in mix
  • 4
    eggs
  • 1/2 c
    canola oil
  • 1/4 c
    poppy seeds
  • 1 c
    hot water ( not boiling )
  • GLAZE
  • 1 c
    confectionars sugar
  • 3 to 4 tsp
    lemon juice ( mix well and drizzel over cake

How To Make lemon poppy seed cake

    Stir cake mix well and add 1/4 cup poppy seed, Stir well and pour into greased, floured bundt pan.

    Bake in a 350 preheated oven for 35 to 40 minutes

    Mix powdered sugar and 3 to 4 teaspoons lemon juice . Mix well and drizzle over cake.
