I found this recipe a couple days ago and made it.This is some more good cake, and I made a lot of cakes in my time. Try it out !!!!! Note : Real butter does not turn into Trans-fats while cooking, like other oils !

Ingredients For lemon poppie seed brown sugar pound cake

  • 1 pkg
    lemon cake mix
  • 1 pkg
    instant lemon pudding mix
  • 4
    xlarge eggs
  • 3/4 c
    sour cream
  • 1/2 c
    milk
  • 1 stick
    real butter melted ( no substitute )
  • 2 Tbsp
    poppie seeds
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp
    lemon extract
  • 3/4 c
    light brown sugar( firmly packed )
  • 2 Tbsp
    sugar ( to coat bottom of pan )

How To Make lemon poppie seed brown sugar pound cake

    Heat oven to 350.Spray bundt pan with Pam spray. Use the 2 Tbs. of sugar to sprinkle inside pan.

    Beat all ingredients to combine well, then mix on medium-high 3 minutes, scraping down sides twice. Pour in prepared pan.Bake 1 hour or until tests done.

    Allow to cool 15 minutes before removing to platter. Let cool completely and dust with powdered sugar just before serving.
