1 csifted confectioner's sugar (icing sugar)

1 1/2 Tbsplemon juice

1/2 tsplemon rind, grated
How To Make lemon glaze for cakes

1Heat milk and butter together. Measure sugar into a bowl, add hot liquid, and stir until smooth.

2Then add the lemon juice and rind. Pour over cake, letting it run down the sides.

3Yield: makes enough for glaze to cover a 9 inch or 10 inch tube cake. I like this especially well on Angel Food cake.
