This recipe comes from one of my old Church Cookbook. I love lemon anything and this sounds absolutely divine. It sounds very simple to. I hope you enjoy this one.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Nancy Patrykus was kind enough to share a picture with us.

Ingredients For lemon delicacy

  • 1 c
    sugar
  • 2 Tbsp
    all purpose flour
  • 1 pinch
    salt
  • 2 lg
    eggs, separated, beaten
  • 1 c
    milk
  • 1 lg
    lemon, grated rind, and juice of one lemon
  • 2 Tbsp
    butter, melted
  • 2 lg
    egg whites, stiffly beaten

How To Make lemon delicacy

  • 1
    Sift together sugar, flour, and salt. Stir in beaten egg yolks. Beat in milk, lemon rind and juice, butter. Fold in egg whites. Pour into greased 8-9 inch pie plate. Set pie plate in pan of hot water ( about halfway up sides of pie plate) and bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes. Serve Cold.
