The use of vinegar in this recipe really makes the lemon flavor pop!

Ingredients For lemon cake

  • CAKE
  • 1 box
    lemon cake mix
  • 1 box
    instant lemon pudding (small)
  • 4 lg
    eggs, beaten
  • 1 c
    water
  • 2 Tbsp
    white vinegar
  • 1/3 c
    oil
  • GLAZE
  • 2 1/2 c
    powdered sugar
  • 1 can
    frozen lemonade (large)
  • 1 Tbsp
    white vinegar

How To Make lemon cake

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • 2
    Add all cake ingredients to a large mixing bowl in the order given and mix well.

    Pour this batter into a 9x13 greased and floured pan.

    Bake for 30 minutes.

    Combine and mix the glaze ingredients until smooth.
  • 6
    Remove the cake from the oven and prick with a fork. Pour the glaze over the cake and return to the oven for an additional 5 minutes.
