My daughter and I love to make these cupcakes on the 4th of July. They are so fun to make.

Ingredients For jody's 4th of july cupcakes

1 boxcarrot cake mix

1 canvanilla frosting of your choice

2 pkgred and blue decorators gel

1 jarmarshmallow cream

1tooth pick
How To Make jody's 4th of july cupcakes

1Bake the Carrot cake! Follow direction on box. Let Cool completely. Hollow out a small hole in middle of Cupcakes. With a piping tip, pipe in the marshmallow cream into the middle of the cupcake.

2Frost cupcakes with Vanilla frosting.

3To decorate the tops, start with adding a small circle of blue gel to top of cupcake, then add a red circle around the the blue circle, leaving a little space in between colors. Repeat Blue and red until you get to outer cupcake. then with a toothpick, start in the middle of cupcake and drag tooth pick from center to outside of cupcake, then do the opposite, start from outer cupcake and drag tooth pick to center of cupcake and so on. and you get a very pretty design.
