I have had this recipe since I was in high school. I don't know who or where I got it from or how it got it's name. I make it quite often, and I have never had a bad reaction. I think you will like it. Also a good recipe to have if you go apple picking.

Ingredients For jewish apple cake

4eggs

2 csugar
-
1 coil
-
2 tspvanilla extract

2 cflour
-
1/2 tspsalt

4 tspcinnamon
-
4 tspbaking powder

5-6apples (chopped)

1 cnuts (optional)

1/4 csugar cinnamon mixture (more or less)
How To Make jewish apple cake

1Preheat oven to 350*

2In large bowl beat eggs.

3Gradually add sugar, oil, and vanilla until well mixed.

4In separate bowl combine all of the dry ingredients.

5Start adding dry ingredients to the wet. Batter will be very thick!

6After chopping the apples fold them into the batter. Nuts also if useing them.

7Spread into a 13X9 baking dish and sprinkle with cinnamon/sugar mixture. (I like alot.)

8Bake for 50-60 mins. or until toothpick comes out clean
