My mother in law gave me this recipe about 5 years ago . This cake recipe is very good . my husband loves this .

Ingredients For jewish apple cake

3 cflour

1/2 tspsalt

2 1/2 tspbaking powder

2 csugar

1 cvegetable oil
-
4eggs
-
1/4 corange juice, fresh
-
2 tspvanilla extract
-
4apples . peeled , cored & sliced

2 tspcinnamon

5 Tbspsugar
How To Make jewish apple cake

1Preheat oven to 350 F , Grease & flour 1 10 inch tube pan or a bundt pan will do to. Combine the ground cinnamon , 5 tablespoons of sugar and apples . mix them then set aside for now.

2In large mixing bowl , combine flour, salt , baking powder , 2 cups sugar , stir in veg oil , beaten eggs , orange juice and vanilla . mix well

3pour 1/2 of the batter into prepared pan , top with 1/2 apple mixture . pour the remaining batter over the apples then pour remaining batter then top that with the remaining apple mixture .

4Bake at 350 f for 70 to 90 minutes . either serve warm , or if you want to serve warm with vanilla ice cream on top .
