Ingredients For hot fudge sundae cake

1 call purpose flour

3/4 csugar

2 Tbspcocoa powder

1/4 tspsalt

2 tspbaking powder

1/2 cmilk

2 Tbspvegetable oil

1 tspvanilla extract

1 cchopped nuts, if desired

1 cbrown sugar, firmly packed

1/4 ccocoa powder
-
1 3/4 chottest tap water
How To Make hot fudge sundae cake

1Heat oven to 350 degrees. Mix flour, sugar, 2 tablespoons cocoa, baking powder and salt. Mix in milk, oil and vanilla with fork until smooth. Stir in nuts. Spread in 9x9x2 ungreased pan. Sprinkle with brown sugar and 1/4 cup of cocoa over batter. now pour hot water over batter. Bake 40 minutes. Serve warm, topped with ice cream. Spoon sauce from pan onto each serving. Makes 9 servings.

2Butterscotch Sundae Cake; Subistitute 6 onces butterscotch chips for the nuts. Decrease brown sugar to 1/2 cup and the cup of cocoa to 2 tablespoons.

3The same as above for Peanut Butter Sundae Cake. But just switch peanut butter chips. If you want Mallow Sundae Cake then substitute 1 cup of minature marshmallows for the nuts.
