This new poke cake recipe I created with my famous honey margarine tastes like honey butter biscuits meets a poke cake. It's good with a glass of chocolate milk.

  • HONEY MARGARINE
  • 2 stick
    margarine
  • 3/4 c
    honey
  • CAKE
  • 1 box
    yellow cake mix
  • 1 c
    hot water
  • 1/2 c
    vegetable oil
  • 3
    egg whites
  • 1 can
    sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 tube
    frozen whipped topping, thawed
  • 8 oz
    cream cheese, softened
  • 3/4 c
    chopped honey roasted peanuts

How To Make honey margarine poke cake

    In a small bowl, whisk the margarine and honey together until blended.

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Coat the bottom of 13x9-inch baking dish with cooking spray.

    In a large bowl, beat the cake mix, hot water, vegetable oil, egg whites and honey margarine together with a electric mixer on medium speed 2 minutes, scraping the bowl occasionally.

    Pour into the baking dish. Bake for 20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted the center comes out clean. Cool completely.

    After that, poke the holes with a end of the wooden spoon.

    In a another small bowl, combine the sweetened condensed milk and honey margarine; whisk together until blended.
