This topping has many uses and even the children in our family love this topping. It's varied and many uses makes it an ideal topping.

1 1/2 ccranberry juice

1 cdried cranberries

12 ozpackage fresh or frozen cranberries (a generous 3 cups)
How To Make honey cran-cranberry topping

1Bring the honey, salt, and cranberry juice to a boil in a medium saucepan. Stir in the dried cranberries, and simmer for about 5 minutes. Add the fresh or frozen cranberries, and simmer, stirring occasionally, for 5 to 7 minutes, until some of the berries have burst and the juices have cooked down and thickened.

2Remove the cranberries from the heat, spoon into a bowl, and chill. NOTE: Use this topping for, Pancakes, French toast, Ice Cream, and Yogurt, and it is delicious as a filling for cakes, cupcakes, breakfast bars, coffee cakes and doughnuts.
