Ingredients For honey bun cake

  • 1 box
    yellow cake mix (super moist)
  • 2/3 c
    vegetable oil
  • 1-8oz.
    container sour cream or 1 cup
  • 1 c
    brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1/3 c
    chopped pecans
  • 2 tsp
    ground cinnamon
  • 1 c
    powdered sugar
  • 1 Tbsp
    milk
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 4
    eggs

How To Make honey bun cake

  • 1
    oven to 350 degrees. grease a 13 by 9 pan with shortening. lightly flour. beat cake mix, oil,eggs and sour cream in large bowl on med speed 2 min.spread 1/2 batter in pan.stir together brown sugar pecans and cinnamon, sprinkle over batter in pan. carefully spread remaining batter evenly over pecan mixture. bake about 47 min.or till deep golden brown.stir powdered sugar,milk and vanilla till thin enough to spread. prick surface of warm cake several times with fork. spread powdered sugar mixture over cake.cool 1 hour store covered. calories 490 carbs 65 makes 12 servings 15 min prep.enjoy
