Ingredients For homemade brownie mix

  • 6 c
    all purpose flour
  • 4 tsp
    baking powder
  • 4 tsp
    salt
  • 8 c
    sugar
  • 1
    8 ounce unsweetned cocoa powder
  • 2 c
    vegtable shortening
  • eggs
  • vanilla

How To Make homemade brownie mix

    How to make brownie mix: Mix dry ingredients well, cut in shortening until evenly distributed (I use my mixer). Put in airtight container, store in cool dry place. Use within 10-12 weeks. Makes 17 cups of mix.

    How to make Brownies using the brownie mix from above: 2 eggs beaten 1 tsp vanilla 2-1/2 cups brownie mix Preheat oven to 350 degrees, prepare 8 inch square pan. Mix everything together and dump in pan. Bake 30-35 minutes.
