1/2 cpecans, finely chopped

8 ozcream cheese, softened

1 cbutter, softened

1 1/2 csugar

1 1/2 tspvanilla

1 1/2 tspcinnamon

1/4 tspnutmeg

4eggs

2 cflour

1 1/2 tspbaking powder

8 ozmaraschino cherries

1 cchopped pecans
- GLAZE:

1 1/2 cpowdered sugar

1Oven to 325 degrees. Grease tube pan, sprinkle with 1/2 cup pecans. Beat cream cheese, margarine, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon and nutmeg until fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Combine flour and powder, add and mix well. Stir in drained and chopped cherries and pecans. Pour into pan. Bake 1 hour 15 min, toothpick test. Cool 5 min, remove from pan. Drizzle with glaze. Store tightly covered.
