This recipe was given to my by our housekeeper back in 1950's Helen has passed for many years, but this cake is the best pound cake I have ever made. It is very easy so it is worth a try

1 lbconfectionery sugar

6eggs

3 call purpose flour

1 1/2 tspvanilla extract
How To Make helen's pound cake

1beat butter and sugar togethter.........add eggs one at a time then flour and vanila

2add eggs one at a time
-
3then flour and vanila in well and put into a greased tube pan. Bake at 325 degrees
