I get the heath bar bits with milk chocolate from the baking aisle of the grocery store (much easier than crushing those candy bars, but I have done both). Sometimes I sprinkle chopped pecans on top too but not always.... enjoy

Ingredients For heath bar cake

  • 1 box
    chocolate cake mix
  • 1 jar
    carmel ice cream topping
  • 1
    container cool whip
  • 1 pkg
    heath candy bars, crushed

How To Make heath bar cake

  • 1
    Prepare cake mix and bake according to package directions using a 13 x 9 pan.

    While cake is warm punch holes in cake and drizzle with carmel topping. Let sit in fridge for a while until cool.

    Frost with container of cool whip which has been unthawed.
  • 4
    Sprinkle with Heath bars. Put in fridge another hour to firm up. Enjoy
