These have been a family favorite for years!! I had to send them UPS to my kids when they were off at college and now the grandkids love them too!

Ingredients For halloween cupcakes

  • FILLING:
  • 1/3 c
    sugar
  • 1
    egg
  • 1/8 tsp
    salt
  • orange food coloring
  • 1 c
    semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 8 oz
    cream cheese (softened)
  • CUPCAKES
  • 3 c
    flour
  • 2 c
    sugar
  • 2/3 c
    cocoa, unsweetened
  • 2 tsp
    baking soda
  • 2/3 c
    vegetable oil
  • 2 c
    water
  • 2 Tbsp
    vinegar
  • 2 tsp
    vanilla

How To Make halloween cupcakes

  • 1
    For filling: Beat cream cheese, sugar, egg and salt until smooth. Add food coloring to make mixture a bright orange. Stir in chips then set aside.

    For cupcakes, combine all ingreedients in order in a large bowl, blending on low. Fill cupcake cups 2/3 full then add 1 tablespoon of the orange filling to the top of the cupcake. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.
