Not everyone likes fruitcake but I have the solution. My friend gave this to me cause I do not like fruitcake. Its different and it does tatse good. See if you like it or fool someone and tell them its a fruitcake.

How To Make gum drop cake

1Combine shortening and sugar until well blended. Add eggs-- beat well. Sift flour and combine cloves, salt, and soda.Add to drained raisins, gum drops, and nuts. Toss and coat well with flour. Add to batter along with sauce and water. Turn into Greased bundt pan. Bake for 2 hours in 275 degree oven.this is a very dense batter so muscle up .
