This pound cake is fantastic served warm with a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream and homemade caramel sauce. Of course the alcohol burns out, but there is a slight flavor of Guinness Stout to the cake that makes it yummy!

  • 3/4 c
    guinness irish stout
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 16 oz
    box betty crocker poundcake mix
  • 2 lg
    eggs

How To Make guinness pub pound cake

    Preheat oven to 350 F. Spray a 9" loaf pan with cooking spray. Set aside.

    In a large bowl, use an electric mixer to beat together the Guinness, vanilla extract, cake mix, and eggs until smooth batter forms. Pour into cake pan.

    Bake in preheated oven for 50-55 mins. or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.

    Remove from oven and cool 10 minutes in the pan, then transfer to cooling rack.

    Serve warm sliced cake with vanilla ice cream.
