This is my favorite cake, which my dear Granny made with love & perfection. It's so simple to bake!

Ingredients For granny's wine cake

  • 1 pkg
    butter cake mix
  • 1 pkg
    vanilla pudding mix
  • 3/4 c
    cream sherry
  • 3/4 c
    cooking oil
  • 4
    eggs
  • powdered sugar (for dusting)

How To Make granny's wine cake

    Preheat oven to 350. Lightly grease and flour a bundt pan (the new Pam With Flour spray works best) and set aside.

    Mix all ingredients in a deep bowl and beat for 1-2 minutes on medium speed. Pour batter into greased bundt pan. Bake for 50 minutes or until toothpick inserted comes out clean. Leave cake in pan and let cool on wire rack for 15 minutes. Release the cake from the pan and let cool completely. Once cooled, dust with powdered sugar.
