This is one of my Grandmothers recipes that can be changed to a lemon, or pineapple, or orange frosting by just a few simple changes.

Ingredients For grandma delleplain butter frosting

1/2 cbutter at room temp.

3 cconfectioners' sugar
-
4 Tbspcream or evaropated milk

1 tspvanilla extract
How To Make grandma delleplain butter frosting

1Soften butter to room temp, and cream in remaining ingredients and continue creaming until mixture is well blended and fluffey.

2This will cover the top and sides of two ( 8" ) layer cakes.

3For LEMON FROSTING : add 1/2 teaspoon graded lemon rind and use lemon juice instead of vanilla.

4For PINEALLLE FROSTING : use 1/3 cup crushed pineapple with juice instead of cream.

5For ORANGR FROSTING : add 1 tablespoon grated orange rind and use orange juice instead of cream.
