    blueberries, washed & drained well
  • 2 stick
    butter
  • 2 c
    sugar
  • 4
    eggs
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    vanilla
  • 3 c
    flour
  • 1 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt

How To Make grampa's bluberry pound cake

    Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Grease & flour a 10-inch tube pan. Gentle fold blueberries in 1/4 cup of flour & set aside.

    CAKE BATTER: Use mixer to cream butter & sugar; add eggs one at a time. Beat well after each egg is added. Add vanilla & beat until fluffy.

    Sift remaining flour with baking powder & salt; fold into cake batter until well blended.

    Gently stir in berries. Pour in prepared pan. Bake for approximately 1 hour and 10 minutes or until cake tests done with a cake tester.

    Place on a rack & cool in pan for 10 minutes before removing from pan.
