    butter, softened
  • 1 stick
    margarine
  • 5 lg
    eggs
  • 1/2 tsp
    almond extract
  • 1 pinch
    salt
  • 2 c
    flour
  • 1 3/4 c
    sugar
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp
    lemon extract
  • 1 pinch
    mace

How To Make golden pound cake

  • 1
    Cream sugar and butter, add flavoring, salt. add eggs one at a time. add flour gradually while beating. pour into well-greased cake pan. bake at 300 degrees for one hour you may use all the butter.
