I made these for Christmas last year, and everyone loved them. This receipe is easy to make when you have 1001 things to do, and no time to cook.

Ingredients For gingerbread bars

  • 1 pkg
    (14.5 ounces) gingerbread cake mix
  • 1/2 c
    butter, melted
  • 3
    eggs
  • 1 pkg
    (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
  • 4 1/2 c
    confectioners' sugar, or 5 cups splenda

How To Make gingerbread bars

  • 1
    Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a medium bowl, combine gingerbread mix, butter, and 1 egg. Spread mixture evenly into a greased 9"x6"x4" glass pan. In a medium bowl, combine cream cheese,2 eggs, and confectioners sugar(or splenda). Spread evenly over gingerbread layer. Bake 30 to 35 minutes or until lightly browned. cool completely in pan. Cut into 1"x2" bars.Store in an airtight container.
