1 Tbspcinnamon

1 cbuttermilk

3 Tbsplight molasses

2 Tbspboiling water

1 tspbaking soda
How To Make gingerbread

1Mix flour, sugar, butter, ginger, cinnamon, and salt with pastry blender or fork so dough is crumbly. Set aside 1/4 cup for topping.

2Add buttermilk,egg, and molasses; mix baking soda with boiling water before adding to batter. Pour into sheet cake pan.

3Bake at 350 degrees F for about 25 minutes. Sprinkle reserved topping and bake for additional 10-15 minutes.
