How To Make german christmas cake

1Simmer first five ingredients for 20 minutes then cool

2sift together remaining ingredients except Pecans. Combine dry ingredients with wet ingredients and pour into a greased 8 inch square baking pan.

3Top with pecan halves and bake at 325 for 1-1 1/2 hour.
