All the guys at Tridom in Marietta, GA. loved this one. I'd bake it while I got dressed for work and take it still warm from the oven. We'd have cake with our morning coffee.

Ingredients For german almond coffee cake

1 1/2 csmall curd cottage cheese (12 oz)

2/3 cmilk

1 tspalmond extract

2 lgeggs

1 boxpillsbury plus white cake mix
- TOPPING

2/3 csugar

2/3 cbutter

2 Tbspmilk

1 calmonds, slivered

How To Make german almond coffee cake

1Preheat oven to 350*. Grease and flour 2 8" or 9" round cake pans.

2In a medium saucepan heat sugar, butter and milk to boiling and boil for 1 minute. Stir in almonds and extract. Set aside to cool while preparing the cake.

3In a large bowl beat cottage cheese, milk, flavor, and eggs. Add the cake mix and beat 1 min.

4Spread in prepared pans and spoon topping evenly over batter.

5Bake 35 to 40 minutes.
