This is an easy to make cake, something you can whip up on a whim as long as you have the fruit cocktail. I usually have everything else on hand...

  • 1 c
    flour
  • 1 c
    sugar
  • 1
    egg
  • 1 tsp
    baking soda
  • pinch
    salt
  • 1 can
    fruit cocktail, drained
  • 1/2 c
    packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 c
    chopped nuts
  • 1/2 c
    coconut

How To Make fruit cocktail cake, tortoise's duplicate

  • 1
    Combine flour, sugar, egg, soda, salt and fruit in a mixer and mix 3 min. Pour into greased 8x8. Combine remaining ingredients and sprinkle over cake. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
