Ingredients For fruit cocktail cake

  • CAKE:
  • 2 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 c
    sugar
  • 2 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 1 can
    fruit cocktail, in heavy syrup (do not drain)
  • TOPPING:
  • 1 sm
    bag grated coconut
  • 1 sm
    bag chopped walnuts
  • 1 stick
    butter
  • 1 can
    evaporated milk

How To Make fruit cocktail cake

  • 1
    CAKE: Preheat oven to 350 degree. Bake for 30 minutes.
  • 2
    TOPPING: Cook over medium heat sugar, butter and milk 10 minutes. Add coconut and walnuts. Pour over cake.
