This recipe is from Taste of Home. I have been using this since the early 1990's. It makes a large cookie sheet and is always a hit at potlucks.

Ingredients For frosted banana bars

1/2 cmargarine

2 csugar
-
3eggs
-
1 1/2 cbananas, mashed

1 tspvanilla extract

2 cflour

1 tspbaking soda

1 pinchsalt
- FROSTING

1/2 cbutter, softened

1 pkgcream cheese, room temperature (8 ounces)

4 cpowdered sugar

2 tspvanilla extract
How To Make frosted banana bars

1Cream margarine, sugar and eggs. Mix bananas and vanilla in.

2Add flour, baking soda and salt.

3Grease a cookie sheet and put batter into pan.

4Bake at 350 degrees for 18-23 minutes. Cool.

5Mix frosting ingredients and spread on cooled bars.
