This is a must at our July 4 th picnic. I have been making this cake for over 10 years and is the family favorite of all my cakes. Of this big cake I never have left overs.

Ingredients For fresh peach pound cake

  • 1 1/2 c
    oil
  • 2 c
    sugar
  • 3
    eggs
  • 2 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 3 c
    self-rising flour
  • 3 c
    finely chopped fresh yellow peaches
  • 1 c
    chopped nuts (walnut or pecan )
  • 1 c
    coconut
  • 1
    3oz cream cheese
  • 5 tsp
    peach juice puree
  • 1 1/2 c
    powered sugar

How To Make fresh peach pound cake

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix first 8 ingredients in order. Pour into greased tube pan. Bake 1 hour. Cool 10 minutes in pan. Place on cooling rack to cool completely.

    Mix last 3 ingredients well and spoon over cake when cooled.
