I got this recipe from a Male Co-Worker in the 1960's and have been making this ever since. The secret is to mix with a "FORK" not a beater. Hope you enjoy as much as we have. The family still request this cake first.

Ingredients For fresh apple cake

1 cvegetable oil

2 csugar

2eggs (beaten)

3 cflour

1 tspbaking soda

1 tspvanilla extract

1 tspsalt

3 csliced thin apples

1 cnuts (pecans)(can sub choc chips)
How To Make fresh apple cake

1Stir together the Oil, Sugar, and eggs(beaten) with a FORK.

2Mix together Flour, Soda, Salt.

3Add Flour Mixture Slowly (with fork)to Liquid Mixture,then add vanilla.

4Next,mix in Apples and Nuts (or choc chips). Bake at 350 degrees for about 1Hr 15 min.Check at 1 hr, depending on your oven. Bake in Greased and Floured Tube Pan. It will appear "flaky" when you put into pan. Hope you Enjoy!
