Ingredients
- 6 - egg whites
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- FROSTING:
- 1/2 cup whipping cream
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- - frozen fruit, thawed, for topping, optional
How To Make forgotten cake, mom

Step 1Oven to 425 degrees. Beat egg whites until frothy with 1/4 t salt. Add vanilla and cream of tartar. Add sugar and beat gradually for 15 min. Put into flat 8x12 cake pan and put in oven, then turn oven off. Leave overnight. Whip cream and 1 T sugar and put on cake. Keep in fridge and serve with frozen fruit that has been thawed.
