Ingredients For fluffy banana cake

  • 2 lg
    banana, mashed
  • 2 c
    flour
  • 1/2 tsp
    baking powder
  • 3/4 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1/2 c
    butter, softened
  • 2
    eggs
  • 1 1/2 c
    sugar
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 1/2 c
    buttermilk or sour milk
  • FROSTING:
  • 8 oz
    cream cheese
  • 3/4 stick
    butter
  • 4 c
    powdered sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    vanilla

How To Make fluffy banana cake

  • 1
    Cream together sugar and butter. Add eggs, mix well and add mashed bananas. Sift dry ingredients together. Add a little at a time with the buttermilk and vanilla. Baked in a greased 10"x15" pan.

    Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool and frost.
